Photo of the Week!
I've decided to start telling a short story behind every Photo of the Week from now on.
Kerry Beyer was getting bored with the various backdrops around his studio. One night I show up to see this shockingly blue wall. I helped him experiment with it a little and the result is this photo which definitely stands out from the rest in my modeling portfolio. The 'blue' photos are without a doubt my most colorful images. Something about them just feels warm and I think I look sweet in the pictures. I usually look vampy or sultry, but there is just a fun, fancy-free thing going on here. I hope you like it!

Hey Hey Hey, C'mon Vogue!
If you've heard of me, you've heard of photographer Kerry Beyer. He and I spent 2 years working together, constantly bouncing ideas off one another to create a shitload of killer images. Oh yeah, and we made a kickass movie called Spirit Camp!
I bring it up because I am delighted to spread the word that Kerry's work will be featured in the September issue of VOGUE Magazine!
I am so proud! I am also very lucky to have such a talented, accomplished person on speed dial! His advice has been absolutely priceless to me as I've navigated my way through both the modeling and acting worlds.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Every woman should have gorgeous photographs of themselves. Which means every woman should visit www.kerrybeyer.com to set up a shoot! Do it now while you're still young and hot! Someday you'll look back at the photos and be glad you did it!
Congrats and Kudos to Mr. Beyer!

Working Girl
Hello My Darlings!

How's everyone doing? I'm happy to report that I'm doing well. I landed a part in a movie that will film in Austin, TX this summer. I'm super excited about this because it will reunite me with my Spirit Camp co-star Julin! She and I became great friends while filming Spirit Camp and we've remained close. She helped me with my audition. Major thanks and tons of kisses to her! If you didn't already know, Julin also happens to be a very talented singer/songwriter. Check out http://www.julinmusic.com/ to learn about her and buy her album Transitions. Yours truly was the Graphic Artist for the album, and the awesome Kerry Beyer did the photography.
This weekend I will be working with respected Houston photographer Bobby G in one of his Glamour Workshops. I'm really psyched about this, but also a nervous wreck. I have clocked a lot of hours in front of the camera, and created hundreds of pics that I am very proud of. A lot of that has to do with having a kickass photographer as a mentor. I learned so much from Kerry and I feel like a baby bird leaving the nest every time I go to a shoot. Can I fly? I sure hope so.
Oh, and if anyone was wondering: Fuck American Idol. Adam should have won!
Enough of my agenda. Or not...afterall this is MY blog, right? But I know you guys are here to see naughty pictures. So here ya go!

In My Head at Dawn
Remember John Stamos on Full House? I was a little kid when that show was on, but Uncle Jesse was definitely one of my first crushes. I bring this up because as I was deciding what to wear today, I came across the T-shirt my friend Sky got me for my birthday last year. It's a Jesse and the Rippers shirt. That was Uncle Jesse's band on the show. He sang lead and played guitar until the band broke up and he formed another group in which he played drums and sang. Thank you, Wikipedia.
I opted to wear an Element Skateboards shirt instead of the Jesse & the Rippers shirt, but it got me thinking...
Is anyone else pissed that even though Uncle Jesse wore leather pants and had a totally 80's rock mullet - he and The Rippers played really light -forgive the term- pussy pop? With a name like The Rippers, you'd think they...well...ripped! Sadly, their music was less Whitesnake and more Beach Boys. Sigh. I still love you Jesse Kastopolis.
I'm thinking of taking some time off in July. I find myself overwhelmed with obligations. I haven't been a very good friend lately, and I'm nearly intolderable to be around right now. I have foolishly over commited myself to a lot of projects. It's making me miserable. Today I heard someone say: "If something brings you more unhappiness than happiness - stop doing it."
So I'm putting my foot down. No more people-pleasing. I'm going to have to learn to say no.
But right now I'm saying yes - to sleep. It's a bad sign when you're nodding off at the computer. So Goodnight my Darlings. The sun will be up in less than an hour.

Jean-etically Speaking
Girls will understand this. You know that pair of jeans? The ones that you keep tucked away in hopes that someday you'll fit into them again. Well, today I put mine on - with ease. I haven't been able to wear them since last fall.

Just sharing that because I am proud of myself. It did not come easy. I loathe exercising. I refuse to do it. So instead, I changed my diet. I won't lie to you. It sucks and I would seriously uppercut someone for a slice of chocolate cake right now.
But it was all worth it today when I slipped into those Lucky Brand Jeans and twirled around in front of the mirror. (Topless, of course.) It was also worth it when I posted the last Photo of the Week without any figure help from Photoshop.
And now a message for the guys. I am being told by many of you have not signed up for updates because your girlfriend would get mad at you. I suppose I can respect that. Or I can suggest you do like some of my followers and use a fake name! Let's be sneaky together.
I leave you all now with a photo from a shoot I had last week with the awesome Ron Davis of Reactuate Photography. I had an amazing experience working with him and Makeup Artist Janet Tillsman.

P.S. I do not know how to play the Violin.
Candid, in between shots.
