Eddie Vedder sings in this song, "I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love."
I feel the same way.
I have so many wonderful friends and fans. Every sweet comment or kind word I receive really does mean a lot to me.
I've spent my whole life second guessing myself.
Do people really like me?
Have I made the right decisions?
Am I going in the right direction?
Am I pretty enough?
Am I smart enough?
Have I chosen the right career path?
Over the years as I've grown more and more successful as an actress and model, I've been assured by others that I am enough of all these things. I am doing great in life, but inside I'll always be the self-doubting little girl who constantly asks herself these questions.
I am known by many people, but I am really only known by a few people.
I want to take a moment to thank the people who know me. The people who aren't just waiting for my next film, interview or photo set. The people who listen when I call them crying in the night because I need advice or I've been hurt. The people who don't care what I'm wearing, whether or not my hair and makeup are done. The people who know Roxane. Not just Roxy Vandiver.
My family - of course. My supportive, loving family. I am blessed with amazing parents and siblings. But they have to love me. The following people don't. They love me because they choose to. They want me in their lives, and I am grateful to be in theirs...

That's it. My BEST friends. Seems like a short list, doesn't it? Well, it is. These are the all-stars in the game of my life. I have many more people that I adore and care for, but these people reside in a tiny room inside my heart that is like the VIP section of a club.
